The Maître of this new Commanderie de Bordeaux (the 104^th in the world) is Manu Brandao. He is a Wine Ambassador for La Vintage Commercial & Winehunters.

The Grand Maître of the Grand Conseil, Jean-Marc Dulong, travelled to Brazil to attend all the events surrounding and preside over the opening ceremony and gala evening of the Commanderie de Bordeaux in São Paulo. He was accompanied by a delegation of representatives of the various Bordeaux wine brotherhoods.
