Friday 7th June
11.00 am: Visit/tasting and lunch at Château Lascombes – Grand Cru Classé en 1855, Margaux
6.00 pm: Visit/tasting and dinner at Château Figeac – 1er Grand Cru Classé, Saint-Emilion
Saturday 8th June
Morning: Tasting event held by the Union des Grands Crus Classés de Bordeaux– Hangar 14, Bordeaux
6.00 pm : Visit/tasting and dinner at Château Malartic Lagravière - Cru Classé des Graves, Pessac-Léognan

“Our trip started on 6th of June and our first evening was at Chateau Giscours. Marc Verpaalen did a wonderful job as a host. We had a little tour through the cellar, followed by a tasting. We were even allowed to taste the new vintage 2023 of Chateau Giscours.
After that we had an Aperitif on the terrace and wonderful 4-course dinner.
On the 7th of June we had a tasting and lunch at Chateau Lascombes with Axel Heinz. It was such an interesting tour through the cellar he really answered every question we had.
And we were lucky too, because on that day we were allowed to taste the 2023 as some of the first ones. The 4-course lunch was exceptional.
In the evening, we arrived at Chateau Figeac and we were mesmerized. It was a highlight of its own of the warm and welcoming atmosphere. Frederic Faye and Hortense Idoine Manoncourt joined us for dinner. And even her mother joined us for a little glass of Champagne. It was really an outstanding evening we will all remember.
On the 8th of June we went to the Union de Grands Cru fair and had a lovely time. We visited Jean-Marc Dulong and got the opportunity to get to know lovely Caroline in person.
At around 5pm we arrived at Malartic-Lagraviere and Jean-Jaques welcomed us with open arms. We had a great tour through the cellar and in the vineyard, also followed by a Primeur tasting of the 2023 vintage.
We had such a fun dinner and it was the perfect final evening with lots of laughter and lots of beautiful Bordeaux wines.
We can’t wait for our visit next year!”
