Maître Sue Darwall-Smith and a group of 29 Commandeurs came to visit the Bordeaux Wine Region at the beginning of June 2024, specifically the Médoc area.

Monday 3^rd June
10.00 am Visit and tasting at Chateau Montrose
11.30 am Visit, tasting and lunch at Chateau Meyney
17.30 pm Visit, tutored tasting and dinner at Château Phelan Segur, with the Grand Maître of the GCVB, Jean-Marc Dulong and his wife Marion.

Tuesday 4^th June
10.00 am Visit and tasting at Chateau Castera (white and red wine, Cru Bourgeois Superieur), St Germain d'Esteuil.
11.30 am Visit and tasting at Chateau Clos Manou in St Christoly.
1.15 pm Lunch at La Maison du Douanier, St Christoly (on the left bank of the Gironde), featuring wines from Castera and Clos Manou.
6.00 pm Visit, tasting and dinner at Chateau Rauzan Gassies à Margaux

Wednesday 5^th June
10.00 am Visit and tasting of Lafite and Duhart Milon at Chateau Duhart Milon.
11.30 am Visit, tasting and lunch Chateau Pichon Baron.
3.00 pm Visit and tasting at Chateau Grand Puy Lacoste
5.30 pm Visit, tasting and dinner at Chateau Lynch Bages

Thursday 6^th June
