The Commanderie de Bordeaux in Wuhan organised an evening induction ceremony which began at 6pm on Friday 24th May 24 2024, at the Chinese restaurant «Yan Xi Zun», in Donghu, in its unique, traditional Chinese style garden.
This evening was honoured by the presence of Mr Jean Yves Roux , Consul General of France in Wuhan and presided over by the Grand Maître of the Grand Conseil du Vin de Bordeaux, Jean-Marc Dulong.
During this ceremony Mr Jean Yves Roux was inducted as Ambassadeur d’Honneur of the Commanderie de Bordeaux in Wuhan and 5 new Commanders were also inducted:
• SHI LU
• CHEN WEI
• WU LING
• FENG YINGYUE
• ZHU XU
A magnificent gala dinner, in the setting of a unique Chinese garden followed the ceremony, the theme of which was food pairings of Chinese cuisine with Bordeaux wines (see the dinner menu). Classical Chinese music accompanied this beautiful evening.
