January 26, 2026Gala dinner and induction ceremony at the Commanderie de Bordeaux in Beirut
On 26 January 2026, the Commanderie de Bordeaux in Beirut held a gala dinner at the Em Sherif restaurant. This exceptional evening was preceded by a General Assembly, bringing together the members of the Commanderie.
The evening was attended by Mr Hervé Magro, French Ambassador to Lebanon, and his wife. The dinner was also marked by the exceptional presence of guests who had travelled from France: Mr and Mrs Hubert de Boüard, as well as Mr and Mrs Daniel Audibert, accompanied by their son Pierre-Olivier.
The evening also featured a highlight in the life of the Commanderie: Mr Hubert de Boüard inducted Mr Fady Debbané as the new Master of the Commanderie de Bordeaux in Beirut, succeeding his brother, Mr Étienne Debbané, after ten years of commitment and service to promoting Bordeaux wines in Lebanon!
