A 4th-century deacon and martyr, Vincent of Saragossa is the patron saint of winemakers.

The Feast day of Saint Vincent is one of the three major annual gatherings of our brotherhood. Depending on the year, it takes place in the Médoc, the Graves, the Sauternes region, or Bordeaux, the capital of our terroirs.

Always convivial and welcoming, the Feast day of Saint Vincent brings together the men and women who work throughout the year in the vineyards, cellars, and wineries, and in the various departments of the estates, wine merchants, and brokerage firms.

A mass is first celebrated by the Archbishop of Bordeaux, Grand Almoner of the Commanderie, followed by an induction ceremony honouring several prominent figures. The luncheon that follows brings together between 600 and 1 000 people in a festive atmosphere, worthy of the finest wine tastings!
