Summer Chapter, Geneva

True to its vocation in French-speaking Switzerland, the Commanderie de Bordeaux Suisse Romande held its Summer Chapter on Saturday, 13 June 2026 in Vevey, in the heart of the Vaud Riviera, within the prestigious setting of the Hôtel des Trois Couronnes.

The gathering brought together 84 Commandeurs and friends of the Commanderie around an exceptional figure in the world of wine: Madame May-Eliane de Lencquesaing, welcomed alongside her grandson, Maxime Bureau.

An emblematic figure of Château Pichon Longueville Comtesse de Lalande in Pauillac, which she led for more than thirty years, Madame de Lencquesaing continued her remarkable wine journey in South Africa with Glenelly, in Stellenbosch. Her story embodies a rare commitment to excellence, transmission and the pursuit of elegance in great wines.

The wines presented during this Chapter allowed guests to appreciate two expressions of the same dedication: the depth and distinction of a great Bordeaux cru, and the finesse and character of a South African estate shaped by a singular vision.

Bordeaux, toujours Bordeaux
