The Commanderie de Bordeaux in Cape Town, South Africa, held its "Harvest Proclamation 2025" event on May 12th.

At this occasion, four people were inducted as members, Commanders de Bordeaux:

Hervé Delabesse, founder of Premier Cru Wines
Mignon Snyman, senior wine buyer
Dr. Jean de Villiers, radiologist
Petri Venter, winemaker

The Bordeaux wines tasted at the 2025 Harvest Proclamation Gala Dinner were the following:

Château Angélus 2020, Saint-Émilion, Premier Grand Cru Classé
