The Commanderie de Bordeaux in Hamburg held its annual opening ceremony on Friday, March 13 at the Hanse Lounge. On this occasion, around twenty Commandeurs were in attendance.

The evening was marked by the induction of a new member, Mr. Sebastian Zeeck, who kindly contributed to the event by presenting a selection of wines from his private cellar.

The tasting was structured in several sequences: an initial white wine, followed by three flights of red wines served alongside the courses, and finally a sweet wine to conclude the evening.
All wines were tasted blind. Only the vintage and the château were revealed, while participants were invited to identify the wines based on their visual and sensory analysis. Each flight was accompanied by a brief presentation on the blend and the characteristics of the wines.

This format was well received by participants, encouraging discussion and contributing to an engaging and convivial tasting experience!
