The dinner held on 8 May 2026 marked an important milestone for the Commanderie de Bordeaux in Jersey, under the banner of renewal and transmission.
The evening was dedicated to the induction of Kevin Metcalfe as the new Maître of the Commanderie de Bordeaux in Jersey by Jean-Marc Dulong, Grand Maître of the Grand Conseil du Vin de Bordeaux.
A passionate wine enthusiast since 2009, Mr Metcalfe now brings his expertise to the service of the Commanderie, supported and guided by Commander and founder Christopher Dobbing.
The event, which took place in the private and prestigious setting of the United Club, brought together around 40 guests to celebrate this new Chapter.
The evening also provided the opportunity to warmly welcome five new Commandeurs, further strengthening the ranks of the Commanderie on the Channel Island.
A warm and convivial gathering, reflecting a renewed sense of dynamism for the Commanderie de Bordeaux in Jersey!
